On behalf of the organizing committee and the Population Genetics Section of the Spanish Genetics Society (SEG) it is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the XXI Population Genetics and Evolution Seminar that will be held 3rd-5th October in Sitges (Barcelona).
This Seminar has been continuously organized since 1979 and is an exceptional opportunity to showcase and discuss the latest research in population genetics, genomics, developmental biology, molecular evolution and phylogenetics. Also in this edition we will have an exceptional group of invited speakers.
The meeting will be held at the Hotel Calipolis in Sitges (Barcelona). This town is located about 40 km South of Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast and is sheltered by the mountains of Garraf, allowing the city to enjoy a warm microclimate for most of the year. Social activities will include an opening reception, evening concerts and the conference dinner.
